Co-Founder

Monty cut his teeth in the business world straight out of university and into the big wide world of Consulting for Deloitte and KPMG. He progressed through senior Marketing and Sales roles but always had a vision that there was a way to do it better.
A move to running the Jewellery business for Australian e-commerce giant Graysonline.com fuelled Monty’s’ enthusiasm for the jewellery industry. His relentless pursuit of excellence and a broad range of business skills led him to a successful private jewellery business since leaving Graysonline, where he provides customers with deserved quality and value every day. Monty currently holds an Applied Jewellery Professional Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

Louise Hamilton

General Manager – Operations

Louise completed a Retail Traineeship as her first involvement in jewellery retail for Gregory Jewellers. After building her experience in the store environment, she went on to manage stores for the manufacturing jewellery retailer before being promoted to the role of General Manager, Retail Operations.
After more than 20 years with Gregory Jewellers, and having secured significant growth for the brand, Louise moved to a new challenge and worked in the wholesale jewellery environment with Peter W Beck.
With considerable hands on and strategic experience across all areas of the consulting portfolio, Louise brings to Monty Adams specialised knowledge of jewellery retailing and back of house processes.

Michelle Cairncross

NSW Sales Concierge / Diamond Specialist

Michelle has developed her jewellery experience having worked both in sales and management within the jewellery retail environment for over 22 years. Michelle brings strength to the Monty Adams team in leadership, sales, marketing, customer experience and relationship building. Having completed her Practical Diamond Grading Certificate through GAA and a Certificate III in Retail Management, Michelle’s technical knowledge of jewellery pairs well with her drive to continually delight her customers.

Working mobile, Michelle is able to provide flexibility with appointments and a personalised approach to jewellery design for bespoke personal wear pieces and investment purchases. Michelle takes pride in exceeding her clients’ expectations and building relationships based on trust and genuine attention. A true jewellery enthusiast, Michelle has successfully established herself in the industry alongside motherhood and maintaining a strong family focus.

Victor Quek

Diamond Specialist

Victor grew up in Singapore and moved to Australia to pursue better opportunities through tertiary education. His background is in Environmental science, but being from an entrepreneurial family, he always wanted to branch out into something unique.
Originally a client of Monty Adams, Victor enjoyed the personalised experience to the point of wanting to provide the same experience to others. Subsequently, he has joined the team at Monty Adams to provide clients with the bespoke/tailored experience that he believes client’s deserve.
